I started taking pictures over 15 years ago. I began working as a professional photographer in Atlanta photographing events, weddings, and family portraits with Colbrook Studios. In 2003, my family and I moved to Apex, North Carolina where to my delight, Kidd Photography has blossomed. We are family owned and operated business, and run our studio from a pure and personal joy of the photographic arts.

I am a carefree spirit at heart, and believe in living life to its fullest. Capturing life in photographs, the essence of the human experience, and the connections between people is what inspires my imagery. That is what will make all the difference when capturing the essence of what is unique to you and yours in every photograph. I started taking pictures while in high school. I learned the basics on a friends Canon 35mm, then I received my first 35mm "point and shoot" while in college. I soon out grew my point and shoot. When I bought my wife her first SLR, it was better than any camera I had. Her SLR would end up in my hands any chance I got. Soon there was a need for a second SLR in the house.

I love to cpature detail and artisic pictures of our clients events. I love to play with different lighting setups just to see what kind of image I can create.
